The Ambassador Community Advocates program recognizes top members of our developer community who regularly help others by sharing useful knowledge, delivering compelling content, supporting them as they adopt Kubernetes and Ambassador products, or contributing to our open source projects.

How Community Advocates Contribute to the Community
Advocating for our tools among other developers from other communities
Contributing code for new features or bug fixes, or identifying issues in open source projects
Helping other users in our community by answering questions or making recommendations
Creating content on a tutorial, feature, customization, or use case to help other community members learn.
Beta testing of new releases of Ambassador projects and providing feedback to our engineers
Sharing and presenting their use cases and other technical content at Meetups and industry conferences

Ambassador Community Advocate Nomination Process
Do you know someone in the community who should be recognized as a community advocate, possibly yourself? Nominations are due by July 30, 2021 for the first-ever class of Ambassador Community Advocates.
Nominations will be reviewed by Ambassador Labs staff, including core maintainers of our open source projects and our developer community team.
