Ambassador Edge Stack Includes Automatic HTTPS for Kubernetes Ingress

One of the most common headaches for people adopting API Gateways is configuring Transport Layer Security (TLS) to enable HTTPS. We’re eliminating that headache.

HTTPS allows websites to encrypt all traffic between your end user and your application. Users value the privacy and security measure, Google favors sites with HTTPS in its search results, and browsers like Chrome label non HTTPS sites as “insecure”.

You have to remember to renew HTTPS every 90 days – an interval just long enough that you forget the details of the steps you have to repeat.

The Ambassador Edge Stack integrates Automated Certificate Management Environment (ACME) support directly into Ambassador so you no longer need to remember the details or the expiration date. Ambassador will:
